Panic Bolt Function - a safety device for critical emergency. These are designed specially for doors that may be used in the event of an emergency that would require a fast and unencumbered escape, such as a fire evacuation.

Panic Exit Device is used on doors in public buildings to provide a quick and easy means of exiting a building in the event of an emergency, such as a fire or other life-threatening situations.

Panic Exit Device Function - Operated by a horizontal push bar, which when pushed in a downward arc withdraws either the bolts or latch, releasing the door for immediate escape in the event of an emergency.

Features:

• The 378E reversible rim panic latch is suitable for all types of single doors.
• Suitable for use on single doors and the first opening leaf of double doors with rebated meeting stiles.
• Supplied in left or right hand, but can be reversed on site.
• Optional model available with manual dogging (hold open).
• The 378E can be used with a rim cylinder fitted to the outside of the door.
• For double rebated door applications the 377E double door set should be used.

Briton Outside Trim Lever w/ Cylinder

Door Trim Access Device is a component of doors with panic devices that is designed to enable swift and unhampered exit from doorways. Simply turn the lever to active the latch mechanism to push the doors open.

Door Trim Access Device Function - installed on the outside of the door, opposite of the panic device.

Features:

• Using a Briton 1413E outside locking device will provide access when the door is locked. When unlocked the door can also be operated from the outside by using the knob or lever.
• The 1413E has been designed to suit all exit devices within the Briton 376E series.
• The 1413E has been designed to accept 1/2 Euro cylinders for key access.
• The 1413E is suitable for doors between 35mm and 70mm thick.
• Fixings supplied are suitable for both timber and metal doorsets.
• Please note: Not recommended for high use areas.
