Mortice Lock provides more security on exterior doors that have windows. (e.g. When intruders attempt to break into a building through a window, the key lock on the inside of the door will stop them from entering).

Mortice Lock Function - where the deadbolt locks by a key on both the exterior and interior of the lock. Latch is activated by turning the key or lever handle if fitted.
