Raven RP51Si Door Bottom Sweep Seals

Door Bottom Seal - used to close gaps around door frames (the jambs and the header). Sound, light, draught, moisture, fire, and smoke can all be significantly reduced by closing the gaps along the door frame.

Door Bottom Seal Function - the seal has a spring loaded mechanism which lifts the seal clear of the floor, in a parallel motion, as soon as the door is opened. Pressure against the door jamb on the adjustable brass strike button operates the seal automatically.

Features:

  • A heavy duty silicon rubber sweep seal for the bottom of outward opening doors. RP51Si has slotted fixing holes for adjustment with a push-in cover strip for concealed fixing.
  • The RP51Si is ideal for use in conjunction with Raven threshold plates
  • Bottom of single and double, outward opening, butt hinged doors, tilt up doors or can be used as a meeting stile seal (astragal)

  • Fixing: Concealed screw fix (Zinc plated, cross recess head S.T. screws and cover strip supplied. Fixing holes are pre-slotted)
  • Minimum and Maximum Gap: 5mm to 20mm (Gap can be user determined)
  • Replacement Seals: RP351Si
  • Material: Aluminium (Anodised aluminium with silicon rubber (SE) gasket)
  • Door Type: Single Outward Opening, Double Outward Opening
  • Door/Frame Construction: Timber, Aluminium

Note:

  • Architectural perimeter seal and door bottom extrusions are anodised 15mm and threshold plates are anodised 25mm for maximum durability.
